ARTstor is a database of over 500,000 images from different time periods and cultures, including photography, painting, design, decorative arts, architecture and sculpture. ARTstor holds such collections as the MoMa Architecture and Design Collection, Native American Art, Woman in History, Huntington Archive of Asian Art, Art History Survey and many others. ARTstor uses pop-ups. If you are using a pop-up blocker, you must disable it or give our server ( ) permission to display pop-ups. OIV Presentation software is available on five computers in the Library, located on the ground floor in the Multimedia Collection Area.

CIAO (Columbia International Affairs Online) 1991 – present
Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) is the most comprehensive source for full text items on theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship including working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, proceedings from conferences, books, journals and policy briefs.
Cochrane Database
(Formerly Evidence-Based Medicine [EBM] Reviews) The database contains reviews prepared, maintained and updated by Collaborative Review Groups, as well as background, methods, objectives and expected date of completion for review currently being prepared. Developed by an international network of researchers, healthcare professionals and institutions whose aim is to help people make well-informed health care decisions by promoting accessibility of systematic reviews on healthcare topics.
CQ Researcher
Collection of full-text reports offering in-depth coverage of political and social issues, with emphasis placed on topics in international affairs, the environment, education, health and the U.S. economy. Reports are dated 1991 to the present.
CQ Public Affairs Collection
Multi-disciplinary collection of full-text reporting on current topics with statistical and historical analyses. Includes a directory of key government, nonprofit, and private organizations in major policy areas. Areas include international affairs, nutrition, the media, law, culture, labor, energy, natural resources and general government and social services.
CQ Supreme Court Collection
Analysis with updates and commentary of Supreme Court decisions. Includes biographies of Supreme Court justices, Supreme Court institutional history and links to the full-text of all cases from October 1969 to the present where a Supreme Court written opinion was issued. Also available is analysis and comparison of constitutions from a hundred nations.

- MLA (Modern Language Association) 1963-present
Contains citations from books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies, with some full text articles available through Wilson Select Plus. JSTOR
Multidisciplinary database of full-text articles from over100 scholarly titles in a range of subject areas, many dating from the journal’s inception. The database covers many subjects and is an ideal place to search if you’re looking for an older article (e.g. 1930’s). Subjects include language and literature, philosophy, African American studies, and classical studies. Coverage: Varies by journal but most journals are included from volume 1; coverage runs up until the most recent three or five years, depending on the journal. Issues from the past three to five years are not included.
Lexis Nexis/Academic
Lexis Nexis provides full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications. Some of this information includes:
- National and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news, and non-English language sources.

PubMed 1950’s – present
PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, includes over 14 million citations for biomedical articles dating back to the 1950’s. These citations are from MEDLINE and additional life science journals, including links to many sites providing full text articles and other related resources.
